Make content your deliverable

21 March 2016 – Utrecht

Good content makes your interactions more meaningful. It makes your sales funnel work. It determines your tone of voice. It engages your audience. Without good content, there is no user experience.

Don Seidenberg advocates a content first approach to web design. Don thinks interaction designers should work closely with copywriters and make content their deliverable. He shared his thoughts on: attention spans measured in seconds, creating the right tone of voice, micro-storytelling, why Lorem Ipsum should die and the US presidential election.

Don Seidenberg loves making complex products easy to understand and use. Although Don is a content writer, sometimes he feels like a designer of information. Don has written for product launches, branding, apps, e-commerce, forms, interfaces, content flows and call-to-action buttons. He has also taught web writing workshops.
